Even if it"s advertised as an ergonomic chair, you cannot really be sure if it has been tested by specialists. The most common problems that people experience when they use badly designed office chairs are: lower back pain, joint pain, and obesity. Well, this is the truth. It is better to spend a bit more money and purchase something reliable. But did you know that there is an easier way to prevent lower back pain? It"s very easy and it has been known for some nations for years. What a pity it has been forgotten by Europeans and Americans! I"m talking about sitting on the floor, of course. Cross-legged or seiza style, you choose it. There are so many benefits of sitting on the floor! First of all, it moves our hip joints to extreme positions, which help us keep the muscles and tendons in an excellent condition. A person with a healthy pelvis muscles and joints will have a much lower risk of lower back pain. Our great-great-grandmothers didn"t need office chairs and they were much more flexible at an older age than we are in our forties!
