Differences of Communism and Capitalism

Capitalism is often the basis for much drama in LiveJournal political communities . Jews (except Noam Chomsky and communists ) and conservative types argue that capitalism is the best way for the United States , and thus the world. Capitalism is not only a cult and a permanent cult of immediacy; it is both of these, both cult and permanent, only because it functions by accruing guilt. This is the third and the decisive trait, emphasized by Benjamin in the essentially religious structure of this economic form and life form. Capitalism is supposed to have been born and bred in the city. But more than that, the implication is that any city—with its characteristic practices of trade and commerce—is by its very nature potentially capitalist from the start, and only extraneous obstacles have stood in the way of any urban civilization giving rise to capitalism.

Capitalism is mutating once again. Much of the institutional scenery of two decades ago ? Capitalism is a great thing. Taken to excess, it will herald the destruction of America. Capitalism is not seen as a paradigm shift, but I humbly pose that it certainly is one and that the key change started around 1930. Unlike better known ones, it produced a slow but real revolution.

Capitalism is doing much the same to the societies that it infests. Capitalism is the name for everything ugly and obscene, a name given for modern slavery and exploitation of the planet and humanity. Capitalism is the system of economy that destroys life and earth, a class system that is based on violence, mass poverty and coercive discrimination. Capitalism is the politico-economic system implied by these principles.

Capitalism is a socio-economic system in which private ownership means profit to the owner. The owner controls the means of production, so the profit belongs to the private business owner. Capitalism is a way of organizing crime in such a way that it can masquerade as something altogether different. But at bottom, they are the same. Capitalism is a globalizing force. An ancient process associated with the rise and fall of empires, it has brought unprecedented prosperity to the world.

Capitalism is much narrower in scope. It is fundamentally an exchange relationship between a capital-owner and salaried employee, whereby the capital owner insures the employee against the risks involved in a particular business. Capitalism is every gift culture’s best hope for sustainability. Capitalism is fine as long as productivity is equaly up to par, its a direct function of productivity. When we ever start manufacturing motor vehicles in 15 minutes .then we'd be fully appreciating capitalism.

Capitalism is a philosophy; capitalism is an ideology; capitalism is a social order. Capitalism is exploitation that will reward say 1 out of 20 people and make 1 out of 1000 really wealthy. That system cannot change. Capitalism is a rational system. It can only function in a sophisticated political culture.

Capitalism is a dehumanising tyrant and if one reviews history it clearly demonstrates that "it" has killed more people than any terrorist organisation. From "manifest destiny" with its ambitions to commodify people and places and to commit genocide in order to achieve it - to what is happening in Iraq. Capitalism is based on the power of the individual but we do not appear to recognize, or if we recognize, do not appear to be able to act on our individual power to affect our own destinies.
